Once a student has been offered a co-op position and would like to receive academic credit, then the Office of Career Services will evaluate the work assignment(s) and approve registration. Students should meet with their faculty advisor to discuss the process if that requirement relates to their major(s). However, there are academic programs that mandate to complete a co-op, internship, or some type of field experience to graduate. Being a part of the Co-op Program is not a requirement in fulfillment to graduate from Lawrence Tech, but is highly recommended.
